Botshibelo means “A Place of Refuge”

- Tswana language

Our Mission

We provide a place of safety and opportunity for the poor and destitute children, youth, and adults in and around our village

Vision and Mission

Vision: Enriching the lives of youth and adults living in dire poverty, assisting them to become productive and happy citizens

Mission: to provide a daily survival platform for destitute and abandoned children, youth and adults. We provide a safe place, enable housing to keep families together. We provide food and nutrition where necessary, education and training, access to transportation, mental and physical health, and appropriate support.

We are passionate about helping those in need.

But mostly, we’re inspired by children.

A Holistic Entity

The Botshibelo village is a holistic entity with many social, mental, and physical needs. BCDT works in all these areas. Much of BCDT’s daily activities focus on children and youth locked in economic destitution.

BCDT provides compassionate humanitarian assistance - social, mental, and physical - for the poor and vulnerable in our community.
