Botshibelo is situated in the rural grasslands of Gauteng Province, South Africa, about 100 kilometres (62 miles) northwest of Johannesburg.

Adaptation and ingenuity are requirements for survival. Income-generating opportunities are rare in this rural area, so the community must be as self-sustaining as possible. The region is arid, so water can be scarce.

We welcome community groups, church or youth groups to visit our village. Our gates are always open for those wishing to learn more, or willing to contribute their time and energy toward a particular project. Call us to arrange a visit.
